My name is Tim and I am a freelance writer living in Maryland. I am a published author. My first book titled "Sports Talk Radio Is A Waste Of Time (And so is this Book)"  was published in October 0f 2010. It is a common sense look at the world of sport from the perspective of the fan,player, coach and game official that I am or once was. My website is Sportscommonsense.com. There I have a blog titled "The Games We Play" along with links to my other writing sites. I have been a blogger since 2003 and began freelance writing this year. I now write sports for Yahoosports, Examiner.com and Suite101. Though sports is my main niche, I am also interested in politics, comedy, music and history.
